<itunes:subtitle>Ride along with The Coke Dares through this crazy little thing called "podcast."</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>The Coke Dares -- Pervert, Skye Myles, and Dr. History Doctor -- climb into their pink Hummer and invite you along. Follow them, won't you, as they tour, stay at home, talk, talk some more, interview cats, drive, don't drive, know things, don't know things, and continue to talk, whether or not they have any knowledge -- or feelings -- about any given subject. Episode one begins as they start their 2008 "Pandering to the Truth" tour in support of their 2008 album /Feelin' Up/. Yet they don't stop there -- they can't! Follow them as they wear out their welcome on your iPod (or other favorite MP3 playing device).

The Coke Dares Podcast - Episode 2

The Coke Dares continue their "Pandering to the Truth" tour, 2008, by driving through a "flood" in Kansas City, MO on their way to playing with the newest band in the U.S. at the Record Bar. Frightfully new! Listen as they talk to staff people, try to find good deals on liquor and beer (and apple flavored wine products), make jokes (good and bad), buy books, records, and wind up, then, in Lawrence, KS, but not before seeing a movie that had not one, not two, but three disturbing rape scenes! And then, in Lawrence, hear Dr. History Doctor and Skye Myles wait impatiently for more (necessary) shots at the Replay Lounge and, interview a cat, and meet a baby -- a baby!

The Coke Dares Podcast - Episode 3

The Coke Dares fly safely into the fifty foot bronze hands of Jesus in Tulsa, OK. They learn about the pure genius of Oral Roberts and speculate that dinosaurs were "docile." And then on to Denton, TX, where the first leg of the "barbecue period" of the tour begins. Listen as suicide by deep fried hot dog is discussed! Hear their thoughts on Big Fatty's! Hear the waitress at Big Fatty's say that they smell hot! And how about that foot-operated sauce pump? Oh, and there's a cat interview, too.

The Coke Dares Podcast - Episode 4

The Coke Dares wrap up the first leg of their "Pandering to the Truth Tour." Listen to them as they make their way through Texas and, ultimately, poison themselves from Austin to OKC by eating at Schoepf's in Belton, TX, for lunch, and then at Brad's in OKC for dinner. Hear them interview Brad himself about bowling, politics, and bowling politics. Listen as they discuss fancy grills. Hear a homeless man play "Something in the Way" in Lawrence, KS. Enjoy an Australian youth minister berating a kid who he thinks is going to hell. And, ultimately, the horrible and disturbing reason why John McCain will, terribly, and most unfortunately, be our next President -- I tell you, it ain't states rights! Also enjoy original music by The Coke Dares!

The Coke Dares Podcast - Episode 5

The Coke Dares invite you to experience the shows, bands, venues, venue workers, and Pukelele with them on the East coast leg of their "Pandering to the Truth" tour. Hear clips of the bands they play with, including Pterodactyl, Ketman, and Black Helicopter. Hear them stuck in traffic! Hear them talk about science! Lots of science! 39 bags of trash! Also, hear interviews with those integral to the life of the Silent Barn in Brooklyn, as well as an enlightening interview about Law and Order with Joe from Ketman. Also, fuck John McCain and the Right Wingers who think that oil is the answer and that we shouldn't care about endangered species, the environment, and the state of the world aside from us. Vote Obama in 2008.

The Coke Dares Podcast - Episode 6

The Coke Dares invade Philadelphia where they play with bands who borrow all of their equipment and remind them how much they hated high school (or loved it). They talk about meat, cheesesteaks especially, haunted prisons, and visit the home of the 40-pound colon, the Mutter Museum. Jose Mignorance and Mike Slo-Mo Brenner play a special organ solo! If you vote for McCain you're an idiot. You're also an idiot if you like Applebees. The wind then guides The Coke Dares to Baltimore, MD, where they hang out with their friend Katrina from Celebration (awesome band) and talk about blood. They talk to friends from York, PA, who admit they had sex with a Senator's daughter in the bathroom of the Ottobar and that one of them is on acid (and a lot more). Skye Myles gets disillusioned with politics and then talks with Ottobar bartenders who keep dropping plastic cups. Then on to Washington, DC, where the Coke Dares talk with their friends Goldberg and Chris about the restaurant in which they want to be trapped for an evening and play with Nebula and Totimoshi. Awesome.

All the while enjoy music from The Coke Dares, Ladyhawk, Nebula, Totimoshi, Bobby Brown (in a special duet with Dr. History Doctor), and more!
